From Upstate New York to Urbandale, Iowa to Sidney, Nebraska to Shawnee, Kansas, our whirlwind of a life is now taking us to Kaiserslautern, Germany! I don't think I ever would have figured this would have been what our life was going to be like 5 years ago but it is so exciting and we love every minute of it!
We got word of this most recent opportunity in Germany in February. Sure, it was a bit of a shock to the system since we'd only been in Kansas for 3 months! But after a few days of thinking, pros and cons, praying, and sleepless nights I couldn't think of a reason NOT to do it. Why not go to live the in the area that my family was stationed at in the Army in the early 80's...how exciting!!
Starting a blog seemed like the most accurate way to document the journey that lies ahead. The things we'll see, the places we'll go, the experiences we'll have. I sort of wish I had started this 4 years ago at the beginning of our moves because it's all just so much to remember! Now it's time to move forward so come with us as we embark on this next exciting chapter of our lives!
